Program Overview

This 3-part on-demand program is designed to increase the participant's understanding about the oversight, management, and dispensing of saline for medical imaging. Specifically developed for pharmacists, it is intended to increase pharmacy personnel’s knowledge about the clinical benefits of saline utilization during imaging; intended to improve patient care. Radiologic technologists and others healthcare professionals that support imaging, may find this accredited program of interest.

Dr. Richard Hallett is Chief, Cardiovascular Imaging for Northwest Radiology Network and Director of Radiology and 3D Imaging for the Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis, IN. He is also Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in Stanford, CA. Dr. Hallett’s major interests include CTA protocol design, imaging for transcatheter heart valve procedures, pediatric cardiovascular imaging, and dynamic cardiovascular imaging of athletes.

Stephanie Allen has 20 years’ experience in healthcare with a focus on accreditation, regulatory and performance improvement for the past 12 years. Stephanie has successfully navigated external regulatory agency surveys and reviews including state, board of nursing and The Joint Commission. In her career, she’s led the efforts to achieve state certification and initial Joint Commission accreditation for acute facilities and provider based practices.

Stephanie has been a Certified Joint Commission Professional since 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Master of Business from East Carolina University.
